A work in progress – Sophie Woolley

“I see the world from three perspectives…”

What happens to a person’s identity when twenty years of progressive deafness is suddenly reversed?

A one person show about going deaf and becoming a Cochlear Implanted Cyborg.

My name is Sophie Woolley and I’m creating a show about my experience of going deaf and going hearing again via cochlear implantation.

I’m developing the piece with support from Sheffield Theatres, Ovalhouse, Poplar Union and Pulse Festival.
